Steve is a well connected international leader with great instincts and expertise. His ability to empower cross culturally and lead from strategy is exceptional.

Rebeca Harcharik

It was a great pleasure to work with Steve. Steve was a supervisor and a mentor to me during my first year at Compassion International, and we worked on the same team for several years. Steve has a great ability to manage a large amount of data at one time and see the "larger picture" as well as the "smaller picture." He is sensitive to working in a multi-cultural environment and he is also sensitive to empowering the people that he supervises and works with. I am sure he would be a great colleague/business partner to work with. Please contact me if you have any questions. Sincerely, Rebeca Harcharik

I was able to take advantage of a change from the normal routine and recharge professionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. The break provided me time to rediscover what is important in life, research new opportunities, and seek exciting options; all the while preparing myself for upcoming significant change. • Child Development Director
      • Jan 2002 - Dec 2004

Provided program development direction and implementation support, covering holistic child development through sponsorship, child survival program, and leadership development program. Equipped, trained and built organizational capacity through mentoring several Compassion program team colleagues, both at the headquarters and international field level, resulting in the satisfaction of knowing that these individuals continue to be successful today, adding value and making a contribution to Compassion’s operations in child development, child survival and development of international leaders. Created the 2nd Child Survival Program Manual, along with mentored colleague. This provided direction, manual content and implementation guidelines to all Compassion field offices establishing the child survival program. This was critical in the change management (acceptance by all Compassion countries) of the program from center to home-based programming. Initiated the leadership development curriculum review design process – planning, organizing, implementing and facilitating the project – with a colleague that led to the final version of the curriculum going global to all field offices implementing the leadership development program.
