  I currently teach college preparatory Freshman physical science along with two Project Lead the Way (PLTW) courses: Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) and Principles of Engineering (POE). In addition to my teaching duties, I do the folllowing: - Provide AV event services for in-school and after-school programs, including recruiting and training students in operation of technical equipment. - Manage our international German student exchange. Plan, book, and execute a month-long overseas trip for 12-16 students to Germany. Recruit families for and manage the hosting of 12-16 German nationals as they visit our school district every other year, in addition to planning activities for the visiting group. - Teach robotic programming, train, and provide strategic planning as the staff coach of our school's competition VEX robotics team. - Managed all Audio, Video, Lighting, Staging, and event services for over 15 years for a 950-seat performing arts center, in addition to recruiting and training a student staff in technical and theater operations. - Provide consultation services, technical training, and staff recruitment to assist the current technical director of the performing arts center, which transitioned to a full-time position. - Manage the school's recreational ski program Show less
