Steve is a principal in the firm’s tax services department. Steve has over 20 years of experience in public accounting.Steve has worked closely with a variety of clients in a diversified range of industries providing tax compliance and consulting services including: Providing corporate, partnership and individual tax compliance work. Providing expertise in federal, state and local income, sale and use and estate and gift areas. Providing proactive tax planning strategies for closely held businesses, owners and families. Planning and accounting for closely held businesses, corporate re-organizations, estate and trusts, employee benefit plans and exempt organizations. Industry experience includes architecture, manufacturing, distribution, entertainment, construction, real estate, retail, not-for-profits and professional service orientated practices.  Extensive experience in assisting clients in resolving tax inquiries and controversies with federal, state and local tax authorities.  Providing controllership and consulting services to clients seeking to outsource functions of their accounting department.Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. Steve is actively involved with the IL CPA Society’s tax committees. He is currently serving on the State and Local Tax committee, and is the former vice-chair of the Tax Executive committee and chair of the Flow-Through Entity committee.
