Experience

    • IT Services and IT Consulting
    • 100 - 200 Employee
    • Information Technology Help Desk Support
      • Mar 2014 - Present

I am currently employed as an IT Helpdesk Associate. When I started working at DiCentral, my primary duties were desktop support. Within six months, I became responsible for maintaining system backups and my duties have only grown from there. I have been appointed the lead of multiple past and ongoing projects from an IT perspective, including: establishing the testing and production sites for international partners, post-catastrophic-failure recovery, network infrastructure analysis and design, security practices research and presentation for employees, as well as maintaining on-call procedures, equipment and scheduling. As a part of my daily responsibilities, I provide support for both on-site and remote employees and servers.

    • Electronics Team Member
      • Mar 2013 - Jan 2014

I started at the end of March and within 2 months received a promotion to work in the electronics department. This sort of promotion is uncommon since Target has a 90-day probation period which prevents the advancement of team members during this period unless outstanding customer service, teamwork, and sales of Target REDCards is demonstrated. When I joined the electronics team we were under the sales goal year-to-date by 10%; through team motivation and the sales I brought in for the team, we were above our sales goal year-to-date by approximately 4% within one month of my joining the electronics team. I then became the team trainer for the electronics department mid-August. I have received recognition from the store management as an exemplary employee, and I consistently received recognition from guests as friendly and capable to provide helpful information and service

    • Intern
      • Sep 2011 - Jul 2012

I was employed by USRA through an internship program they offer called the Career Exploration Program (CEP). I was an intern in the International Space Station Division subgroup Avionics and Software Group. I helped to review software problem reports for software for the International Space Station. I also provided meeting support by presenting my findings for reviews I did as well as taking minutes and performing other administrative duties. I authored two read-me instruction manuals that are still being used to train team members to perform data pulls. The internship ended in July of 2012.
