    • Business Teacher
      • Aug 2020 - Present

I daily engage with students to further develop their knowledge of how business impacts them and the world around them. My areas of focus include Marketing, Business Management, and Personal Finance. In addition to my specific teaching opportunities, I also help organize and lead our local Bridge to Employment (BTE) group. This includes sixty students working with our local Johnson and Johnson organization to better prepare them for further education and/or work opportunities specific to the STEM field. Many of my courses qualify for dual credit through Ivy Tech. Show less

    • Development Director
      • Jan 2020 - Aug 2020

I worked daily on the cultivation of current and possible supporters of the organization's mission through active engagement and relationship building. This happened by working independently and as a team to provide education to the community on the mission of the organization through one on one conversations and specific events meant to highlight the mission and create awareness of organizational needs. By taking these actions, I was able to provide organizations and individuals the opportunity to support the organization's mission through major gifts and volunteer opportunities. In order to help with a larger expansion of support for our mission, I co-led the Cultivation Committee made up of volunteers working to also help us educate and create awareness of the mission of Cardinal Services. • Director of Aquatics, Safety, and Mission Advancement
      • Jul 2011 - Jan 2020

I was given the opportunity to daily lead strategically and with innovation in all aspects related to Aquatics, while leading in the overall safety and mission advancement of the Kosciusko Community YMCA. This included programming and staffing of 40-50 employees in the areas of swim lessons, water aerobics, lifeguarding, and building supervisors. With my certification as a Living Our Cause (LOC) Champion with the Y, I was also able to strategically inspire and lead all staff through the trainings and culture building activities that lead our Y in being cause driven. This all came while continuing to help provide a safe and welcoming environment so the Y can be a leader in the betterment of our community socially, physically, and mentally. In those efforts, I supervised instructors, tracked certifications, organized classes and lead classes in CPR and AED, First Aid, and Lifeguarding. Show less

This left me responsible for all aspects related to sport and aquatics, including staff and program development, as well as budget creation and management. I also served as the lead to the sports product development team, which included all sports directors from the other association branches.
