Responsible for all EHS aspects. • At time of hire, this metals fabrication and electroplating facility was ranked as the worst EHS facility in GE Corporation (#1 on "Focus 30" list. Also on "Dirty Dozen", "Get Well Twelve", and "Sewer Patrol Consortium" lists of problem GE sites). Orchestrated dramatic EHS improvements at this facility through a process of working with stakeholders, procedure writing, training, and program implementation. Outcomes included a decrease in the OSHA recordable rate from >11.5 to <2.0. Obtained the 'Maine Governor’s Award' and the 'GE Corporate Environmental Most Improved Facility Award'. • At time of resignation was credited as “Top Five” EHS Manager in division of 200 facilities. • Implemented new systems to improve Chemical Management, Training, Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene, Incident Investigations, Lockout/Tagout, Contractor Safety, Inspections and Emergency Preparedness.
