In doing this I built relationships and management major stakeholders including Heads of Global Payments, Payment Processing, Compliance, Legal and Learning managers. My main function was to manage the bi-annual delivery of all mandatory Compliance and Sanctions training including liaising between internal compliance and external learning providers to ensure the end learning product met user and senior management budgetary requirements, along with meeting legislative learning requirements for the bank. Secondly, to build general awareness of Sanctions Compliance and to mitigate the risk involved with Sanctions Non-compliance, I created, along with my team of four, an ongoing Sanctions Awareness learning campaign that was rolled out across London, Poole and Indian based locations. This campaign included training, internal communications (both on and offline), spot-checking, creation of Sanctions Champions in each location, an online learning system, games etc...to build employees understanding of Banking Sanctions. Managing team KPIs was also key to the role as all training was mandatory for Global Payments staff. I was the Global Team Leader of five and senior manager to a team of 20. Managing recruitment, training and development, dismissals etc.

This programme needed strong Brand Management which required my time to be spent on the creation and advertising of on and offline promotional communications, working with the internal design team to create posters, flyers, desk drops and video files. To build awareness of this programme and the tools associated with it I spent a large amount of my time presenting at weekly service line and firm-wide training events, including induction events, Partner meetings and stakeholder focus groups This role also required the deployment of research sources across the UK offices which included working with account managers from external database providers, working with colleagues in other local offices, travel around the UK. Finally the awareness project included the analysing and reporting on KPIs of knowledge resources to senior management. Due to my good work within TAS I was seconded to Business Advisory Services to rebrand and reinvigorated their Knowledge Deployment in a similar fashion. I was also an elected member of a consultancy body to the EY Chairman and leadership team in the position of Communications Manager for the consultancy body. Finally I also created and was chairman of the EY Choir.
