      I am currently a Scientist in the Metabolite and Protein Analytics group. We perform a full spectrum of protein characterization techniques to support the Plant Sciences project needs. These techniques include recombinant protein expression and purification, protein interaction analysis, quantitative assay development with immunoassay and MRM LC-MS techniques. In addition to my scientific roles, I also worked as the coordinator for external seminars, founded and lead the Global Proteomic community at BASF and contribute to innovation facilitation as a member of the local innovation team.

      Research conducted as a joint assignment with Matthew Soellner and Anne McNeil from the Departments of Pharmacy and Chemistry. My postdoctoral research was focused on developing peptide-like sensors for protease activity.       During my time at Purdue I funded my thesis research working as a graduate teaching assistant. Overall, I was responsible for hosting material review sessions, grading, and office hour help for 5 semesters of a 500 level biochemistry course as well as 2 semesters in medical school biochemistry. In addition, I also taught a semester of analytical biochemistry. My efforts were recognized by the university, earning an award for teaching excellence in biochemistry.
