The company was instrumental in building the team that created FundSERV, the national Canadian mutual fund transaction and clearing network. While Corelan was low key in its approach, it created compelling solutions for very high profile corporations. The company expanded into hosting services in 1996, and systems integration divisions. Customers often characterized Corelan as supporting "the engine room" of their business. Running Corelan was an amazing experience thanks to the incredible people we attracted, and exceptional customers that loved what we did for them! Building a technology company from the early 90's which anchored much of what it did around Unix and TCP/IP was a really wild ride especially towards the end of the decade!
