I am Head of School for students in World Studies (including Geography, Economics, Business, Maths, English, Modern Foreign Languages, Travel & Tourism, Public Services, World Development, Computing). I line manage a team of teachers involved in the Core Studies programme and provide guidance and support for around 450 students. My responsibilities include the college Core Studies system and reporting. I also work closely with the college's international team and all international students.

Transition Town Worthing was set up in 2009 to raise public awareness about resource depletion and climate change. A programme of talks, films and workshops initiated a number of specialist groups and practical projects for community involvement and resilience-building. During this time a constitution was written and ratified, an annual election process set up for selection of a steering group, along with a schedule of business and open meetings.
