I am an accomplished and dynamic travel sales professional, performing at a very high level for an award-winning Tour Operator. I have extensive country knowledge of Oman, Egypt, Southern Africa and Madagascar having travelled extensively through the regions – I grew up in Bahrain and Cape Town, and personally have continued my travels throughout the world, as well as multiple return trips with Audley. I am a team player, with exceptional skills in organisation, time management, communication and customer services. As a role-model I spend time mentoring some of the newer members of our team, with call listening sessions, and running product knowledge and sales development training.

The was a customer facing and sales driven financial role. My job was to understand a client’s financial needs and match them to the right financial product, before securing the sale, as well as finding opportunities for cross-selling and referrals to other key product areas such as mortgages. A key aspect of this at Santander was the ongoing customer relationship and loyalty we engendered which lead to repeat business. This all involved me communicating with clients through email, the phone and in face to face meetings. A key part of my role was also in supporting the team around me in the day to day running of the branch, including taking responsibility for much of the risk awareness. I had monthly and quarterly sales targets and was regularly the best seller in my region.

Youth Minister
-
Aug 2005 - Oct 2010
My main role was in managing the youth work of a large Anglican church of 800 people. This meant managing a group of 30 volunteers who provided 9 different youth groups for over 100 teenagers, including youth clubs and work in local schools. I was also involved in project work, including development and implementation of schemes such as work on a local housing estate, and taking a team of 20 young people to Gambia, West Africa. This was a greatly varied role in which I developed many skills including people management, administration, advertising, communication, decision making and an ability to think quick in changing and sometimes challenging situations.
