Steve and I came to know each other as fellow YouMap® consultants. We have partnered together on a strength series on LinkedIn. He is a terrific writer who works hard to carefully curate the right story to a strength. What stands out for me about Steve? He’s a bridge builder among people who share differences. This is a wonderful quality to have in a role where you are engaging with different personalities. He helps others see possibilities for the future by making choices now that build a positive future. You can count on Steve to do the right thing, do things right and do what he says he will. He’s a continuous learner and he is able to get up to speed quickly on new subject matter. Steve demonstrates a willingness to share what he has learned with others. I have benefited from some of his tips and insight he has shared with me. His ability to figure out how all the pieces and resources can be arranged for maximum productivity. Steve brings others together and he makes them better. Any organization or individual would be lucky to work with him.

As a fellow team YouMap consultant, Steve is true to his strengths. He is a key conduit or glue in our little community by connecting a group of us to post weekly on a StrengthsFinder strength. He is adept at coordinating - and most importantly, Steve can be depended on to do exactly what he says he will do. I absolutely trust him at his word.

Steve is an amazing leader and used his insights to guide me through Youmap. It was a most enlightening and interesting experience, the knowledge and understanding Steve has is amazing. I’ve known Steve for a couple of years as we are both in the Blue Angels and have the highest regard for kindness. Steve is so kind and honourable, truly reliable and wonderful human being.

This is not a How-To book on leadership. This is a What If book on leadership. What if I applied the messages in the stories to my leadership? What would that look like? What impact might I have on others? If you like stories or business fable (i.e. Who Move My Cheese? or The Goal or Five Dysfunctions of a Team), you will love this book.
