I spent some time working at First Health installing HACMP and AIX. First Health was transitioning from other platforms to IBM, and not everyone was happy about it. Steve, however, looked at this as an opportunity to learn, and spent every minute he could spare working with me. By the end of my engagement, Steve had gone from being a reasonably proficient systems administrator to an AIX subject matter expert. His personality is such that anything he is tasked to do will be done right, and without supervision. I'd recommend Steve for any position, whether he currently knows how to do it or not. He's an ideal employee.
