Here at Ally I'm building a foundation for successful business development by creating a proposal function from the ground up. From fit/finish equipment, formatting/design and content review to an overall fit for purpose proposal process that includes best practices like Go/No-go meetings, persuasive Executive Summaries, strategic value propositions and win themes. I currently head up a very talented team of proposal professionals here at ENGIE Services U.S. The transition from OpTerra to ENGIE Services was simply a name change as we were further integrated into the ENGIE North America family. Here's a quick explanation: • In January 2018, OpTerra Energy Services formally changed its name to ENGIE Services U.S., reflecting its ownership by global energy giant ENGIE (EPA:ENGI), the number one energy services provider in the world.• In my current role as the Director of Proposals, I work on a national team to deliver Energy Effective™ programs for education, government, commercial, and industrial clients that advance key financial, environmental and community goals. You can check out the Media Link for more information on the transition. Show less

My primary focus will be to manage the proposal generation function here at OpTerra. As with any new startup though I will wear a number of hats to help support the success of the business. Trade shows, one off marketing pieces, speech writing, signage and other pure marketing communications projects will be in scope to help support our front line sales organization. I will also manage relationships with our trade association and other ally partners. My primary focus will be to manage the proposal generation function here at OpTerra. I started as an account manager with Energy Masters but quickly became the Proposal Manager after successfully managing the company's DOE Super ESPC submittal. For the next two years I managed the proposal generation process for the entire company as well as developing other key marketing communications projects. In 2000 I was asked to take a lead business development role in the Kansas and Missouri markets selling over $4MM in energy services in just under a year.
