      Commencing in 2007, I initially provided on-site construction supervision and commissioning support for both greenfield and upgrade projects at coal handling and preparation plants, primarily in Queensland's Bowen Basin as well as Colombia. In 2011, I was appointed a secondary role as Engineering Group Leader, responsible for the support and development of a group of Brisbane based staff and contractors. This was followed by appointment to Principal Engineer (Electrical) in 2012.My Manager-EI&C role commenced in 2015 and primarily involved leading the electrical and controls discipline teams for a variety of feasibility and project definition studies, as well as detail design projects. Additional responsibilities of this role included project resource planning, process improvement activities, estimating, and group design standardisation.Sedgman's EI&C team carries out design and completions of all aspects of surface mine infrastructure, including MV reticulation, distribution substations, motor control centres, installation design, and control system implementation.
