Designed, developed critical sensor's for the Personagraph platform, these sensors recorded GPS coordinates and user mobile application usage to determine the persona of the user. This helped direct advertisements to the right persona's based on interests and location. We used Java, Apache Storm, Elasticsearch, HBase, Apache Spark, Redis, Kafka, Hadoop and many other technologies to implement the platform. Designed, coded and implemented the AppWorx Workload Automation Platform. Built the best-of-bread Workflow builder, the builder was visual and has the ability to perform complex dependency statement evaluations. This really set AppWorx apart from other Automation products. Created, designed and implemented the Rapid Automation framework, received a Patten (US20120084684A1) under UC4 Inc. The Rapid Automation framework allowed the rapid development of agent technology with full front end and agent logic deployments. Show less

OPSMVS operation developer: Main job duties: Wrote tools to help in the recovery of failed production jobs. Accomplishments: 1. Created SPF edit macro to perform GDG resets for a failed production job, this tremendously improved the speed in job recovery. 2. Created expert system called "Auto Recovery", this gave applications the ability to perform automatic job restarts for certain job failures like SB37, S878, IMS checkpoint restarts. 3. Created REXX scripts to perform startup/shutdown executions. 4. Created process to remotely execute unix and NT job submission from MVS. On unix we used remote execution protocol on NT we had to write our own agent. 5. Created job stream backout process, this process made things easier when a production job stream needed to be rerun due to data errors. This process would delete all files and tape data sets that were created in the production run. Mainframe skills: JES2/JES3 TSO/SPF SDSF OMVS VSAM DB2 IMS CICS Languages: Java, Groovy, Clist, REXX, Cobol, PL/I, C and some Assembler - APPWORX (now CA technologies) I worked for APPWORX for 12 years, I only wanted to state work I had done on ZOS. Lead Developer: 2006 thru 2007 Project: ZOS agent for job submission This was a full blown ZOS agent, job submission, file event detection, SYSOUT capture and automatic job restart under certain predetermined conditions.
