Appointed as Chief of Fire and EMS in October of 2009. As Chief we have increased staffing as well as supervision, enhanced and expanded our award winning fire prevention programs, increased training hours, reduced ISO rating from an 8 (2009) to a 4 (2012) and then to a 3 (2017),added a second fire and EMS station (2016), received over 2 million dollars in grant funding as well as updated and enhanced our fire and EMS fleet.

Was initially hired in the spring of 1998 to work for and assist the City Manager in creating the City of Mason Fire Department.
