Paul Steven

When launching Operational Excellence at Diageo, Steve was the enthusiastic engineer needed to link machinery suppliers, our internal projects department and the Runcorn Operations Team (production & maintenance) together for the good of the operator and craft. The initiative was called Early Management and Steve led it successfully on large capital projects and smaller improvements too. The needs of the operator and craft were included successfully into designs. Also, as a key player in the Op Ex team, Steve also worked on improving the visual standards applied at Runcorn in conjunction with the 5S initiative. When he assumed the Op Ex responsibility for Bottling, the visual standards were improved dramatically by his work with the Operations Teams on both shifts & days. Steve is an active team player who will push hard to achieve results.
