Reviewing Bill of Materials against furniture print to verify correct quantities and part numbers. Field measure sites to make sure we have the most current information during and after the construction phase. Meet with customers to get an understanding of their expectations and schedules for their furniture purchase and meet their expectations along with staying within budget and without having any Punch Issues. To make a difficult and stressful project into a walk in the park for the customer, and hopefully the installers and designer. Show less

Operations Manager
-
Aug 2010 - Dec 2012
Managed the facility and local moving operations with a crew size varying between 8 and 25 people depending on the season. Met with customers to provide quotes when sales was unavailable, visited job sites to make sure customer was ready and if there were any questions. Sometimes had to get into a truck to do a job in a pinch or if a crew needed assistance for a larger item as to not damage the customer's property. Distribution of Girl Scout Cookies every year included: receiving 5 to 6 semi trailers full to the rim, sort and fill the orders by the route and delivery location, and sent out 4 routes each day until completed by meeting the customer's delivery requirements and making the routes efficient without back tracking. Furniture Operations Supervisor

Managed customer installation schedules and installation, delivery, and warehouse operations at the Onalaska, WI facility. Produced forecasted billing revenues on a weekly basis and overhead costs of the furniture crew. Maintained building and grounds, safety equipment, and monitored DOT and OSHA regulations were met. My former position as an installer has helped me in understanding what to look for and how the product will fit during and after the installation process. Great understanding of electrical and communications requirements for the customer's needs. Position was eliminated. Show less
