Boral is Australia's largest building and construction materials supplier with operations in all states and territories. The company is structured into three main operating divisions: Boral Building Products, Boral Cement, Boral Construction Materials. Current Role and Key Responsibilities: Managing 125 accounts both metropolitan and rural. Sourcing new accounts for potential sales, whilst maintaining existing accounts. Major accounts I manage are:- Bunnings - 15 stores in Victoria, Danks(Home Hardware - 7 stores), Carpet Choice - 8 Stores, Carpet Court - 8 Stores, Western Distributors, Major Timber and various other accounts. Develop and implement sales strategies for the accounts I manage, including the national key accounts, which produce substantial revenue and profitability for the Boral Timber division. Reporting back to the State Manager (Victoria) of Boral Timber in regards to field execution and results. Liaise with Victorian State Manager and National Sales Manager when required to discuss MTD sales, volume forecast, market intelligence and product concerns. Responsible for implementation of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) program. It allows the business to store our market participants. I also use the CRM for forward planning and reporting, which is one of my annual KPI's. Developing and managing Key Account Plans - which are the top 10 customers in my territory. Key Account Plans are another one of my annual KPI's. Cross Collaboration with other Boral Divisions to achieve Boral's Sales and Marketing Excellence Program (SME), drive revenue and increase the brand through market share, this is achieved by lead sharing. Coordinate builder account enquiries and refer them onto the major distributors in my territory. Managing a weekly, fortnightly and monthly call cycle. Present at all Sales and Marketing meetings. Achieve sales targets, revenue and maximize profitability for the business.
