With electronics as a bases I was put into the field at Bosch (Stuttgart), Sintef (Oslo) and the University of Geneva for machine installation and field testing. Trouble shooting has become an ability, using electronic and engineering knowledge I am able to find the issue and quickly determine the outcome. Safety assessment is always a top priority of mine and I have ability to engineer safety into a design and work with it in thought.

  At Gallagher, an international engineering company specialised in fencing and security, I have been trained to carry out the testing of Energizers to increase product reliability. From this I gained a good understanding of capacitors and the stress that is incurred by the shock pulse. This is one of the many electronic components on which I spent time in order to investigate how higher Energizer performance could be achieved. The work environment at Gallaghers was very team-orientated and over the course of a year I have worked on projects with many of very experienced engineers. Furthermore, I improved on my communication skills by writing many ‘Engineer Change Notices’ and learnt how to direct projects.
