Congregation Sons of Israel is a Consevatvie synagogue in Northern Westchester of approximately 425 families. We have oustanding and award winning programs in Adult Study, featuring leading scholars and well known political analysts. Close to 100 adults have celebrated an Adult Bat/r mitzvah at our synagogue! We also have a very active Nursery and Hebrew School program. Along with our Hebrew School we have many students who attend Jewish day school at Schechter Westchester. Our children attend many Jewish camps, in particular Camp Ramah in the Berkshires, where we have been identified as one of the top 25 "feeder" congregations. As rabbi I am very active in communal organizations, currently serving on the Westchester AIPAC Leadership Council, an active participant in the Westchesteer Board of Rabbis and on the Board of the Ossining Food Panrty. I am a chaplain at the Briarcliff Fire Department and actively participate in the Briarcliff/Ossining Ministerial Association. I am a past president of the Lower Hudson Valley Rabbinical Assembly.
