NET UK worked with large national employers, over 40 DWP job centres and key service providers such as probation service. This included overseeing the management of up to 100 staff across multiple locations including Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Manchester, South Yorkshire and West Midlands. The role also included management of curriculum design, profiling and recruitment of staff to deliver the budget including working closely with employer engagement and support teams. I also directly managed teams deliver service sector apprenticeships, pre-employment and traineeship programmes working closely with cross college curriculum teams. This was across upwards of 72 apprenticeship frameworks (5000 apprentices) and over 2000 traineeship and unemployed learners. This role also required to be heavily involved in the succession planning for apprenticeship reforms covering all aspects from developing business opportunities, delivering new apprenticeship standards and assisting support areas build capacity to deal with the changes. This involves liaising with employers and supporting staff to be in a position to deliver more cost effective standards as opposed to old apprenticeship frameworks.
