I’ve worked with Steve for well over decade now and can honestly say that not only has he been instrumental in my career, he has also taken an interest in my general well being since moving to London to join his team. Steve is a Director that cares about his staff and recognises that people motivation doesn’t just equate to promotions or pay rises, but also that an MD taking an interest in every individual in their team is key to getting the best out of his people and the best productivity. Steve goes above and beyond in his role as an MD, creating the best team environments I have ever been part of. His people management skills are the best I’ve witnessed and any team he heads up is lucky to have him! Steve is one of the most generous, thoughtful, hilarious and genuine individuals I have met in my career up until now. He is also very good at his job (and cycling :)), which has made him a huge asset to PageGroup. He creates a tight-knit culture that thrives on camaraderie and healthy competition. He always seems to have time for a call/email/chat and that has made him an unofficial and official mentor to many within the business. As I finish my time at Page there are people and leaders I will miss, and Steve will be at the top of that list.
