As Facilities Manager I maintained the entire facility as well as the grounds. New building development, recycling system, purchasing and the through put of resources to donate when the products were in good condition for reuse as well as maintaining the buildings " Silver Lead" certification. Temporary storage real estate searches as well as finding no cost resources provided by current vendors at no additional cost to overhead to keep costs at a minimum. As A/V rental Services salesperson I assist production as well as ship and store services as well as staffing the rental desk selling A/V services and equipment. I no longer travel much but still do for the company’s larger convention services clientele. Currently forklift certified as well as being the companies Safety officer and driver training certifier. As for my personal donations of time I have been Assistant Stage Manager for the south stage of the Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival for the past 8 years as well as donating my time and henry V's parking facility for the yearly Woodlawn Neighborhood Clean Up. I have always believed participating in community involvement is important to be well rounded. I still enjoy and wonderful relationships with my past employer as he was a great mentor in my career in the event industry. Show less

Together over the next five years we grew the company to twenty thousand square feet and a million dollars in sales. I started as an installers helper and quickly took my own crew so we could add more sales. The next five years saw doubling growth and a larger warehouse, fifty thousand square feet. In the next two years that expanded to sixty thousand square feet and an office in Bend, Oregon and in Las Vegas. I began selling full time and ended up in the Bend office managing and selling until I left the company due to differences. I earned a degree in events over those 16 years and commend the owners for allowing me to grow with them. Show less
