I have been in Retail Banking or Mortgage since 1997 and can honestly say that Steve Domenico was one of the best underwriters I have had the privilege of working with on all of those years. He is a wealth of knowledge and one of the most organized underwriters that I know. Steve was also a problem solver! We have all had those UWs that you could feel were trying to find ways to design a loan or prove that they knew more by adding endless conditions. Steve took the opposite approach! He would take a sales approach to finding a workaround to getting a difficult file approved. Steve was a positive, can do, "I'll check into it" sort of partner. It is a very short list of Underwriters that I would call partners, Steve was that.
