I made a small initial investment in Ambit Energy, and in myself, as an Independent Energy Marketing Consultant. Ambit Energy is a franchise-like business, offering many positive benefits of owning a business, without the associated negative risks. It is a service, not a product, and it is an essential service that everyone needs and uses. It is electricity. It is habitually used, and unconsciously paid. Ambit Energy is a franchise-like business, offering many positive benefits of owning a business, without the associated negative risks. It is a service, not a product, and it is an essential service that everyone needs and uses. It is electricity. It is habitually used, and unconsciously paid. I actually receive my monthly electricity for free, while earning a growing residual monthly income just for helping people save on their monthly energy bill. I can show those same customers how they also can earn their energy for free. Ambit Energy Holdings, Inc., is a top retail energy provider in the states of Texas, New York, Illinois, Maryland, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Virginia and California. We are proud to use the network marketing distribution model which has fueled our growth as the #1 Inc. 500 fastest growing private company in America for 2010. Ambit is providing a vehicle and empowering individuals to capitalize on the multi-billion dollar shift of power currently taking place in the industry of energy deregulation.

The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, specifically in New York City, created the unprecedented closure of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). This meant that we could not work for days. The NYMEX is where commodities like electricity and natural gas are bought and sold on "futures contracts." This major disruption, in September of 2001, of business services was followed, in October, by the total implosion and demise of Enron, the nation's largest wholesale provider of electricity. One Hundred Billion Dollars went missing from Enron! These catastrophic events led to a negative trend of uncertainty in the energy business markets. This negative turbulence in the energy markets gave rise to a negative pejorative know as "churn," (picture a tornado). When I could no longer guarantee my company's integrity, as well as my own promises of assurances of security, to my faithful client customers, I, like many other Energy Marketing Consultants, at this time, decided to move on and change professions. Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative is a locally based and locally owned electric distribution system headquartered in Manassas, Virginia. NOVEC is a not-for-profit corporation. As a cooperative it is owned and controlled by its member-owners — the customers who purchase energy from NOVEC. NOVEC's customer-owners elect a board of directors which governs all Cooperative business affairs. The majority of NOVEC's customers are residential and small commercial, however we provide electric service to numerous large commercial retailers such as AOL, Potomac Mills Outlet Mall, NOAA's Mount Weather Facility, Vulcan Materials Company, Verizon, AT&T, Doane Food Products, Treasure Chest Advertising and several Luck Stone Corporation quarry locations. After becoming a successful recruiter, I left the recruiter search business to purchase my own business franchise from Management Recruiters, after learning that Management Recruiters had just added the Person to Person Welcoming Service Franchise into its now diversified portfolio. Person to Person was a franchised public relations and community relations business, sponsored by local merchants, and was specifically targeting the New Resident market, and as such was essentially a new customer development program, meant to replace those former customers who moved away. The only competition was the old Welcome Wagon company. Show less After graduating college in Illinois, I returned to Maryland, and was invited to join Management Recruiters of Baltimore. After completing two years of college, my fiancee and I decided that we would do better, and be happier, as married students. We left college in Chicago, Illinois and returned to Baltimore, Maryland. We were married and both took on full-time jobs to save enough money to return to college as soon as possible. We left college in Chicago, Illinois and returned to Baltimore, Maryland. We were married and both took on full-time jobs to save enough money to return to college as soon as possible. I was selected and hired to be a commercial Driver/Delivery Teamsters Union Member of United Parcel Service when they initially first offered their services to the Baltimore area. I daily operated my own established route in the commercial retail district of the Downtown Baltimore City area. I averaged 130 daily commercial stops, which emptied my truck by mid-afternoon. This was then followed by 30 daily commercial pick ups, which then filled up my truck with out-bound packages. After my first year with the company, I was being groomed for a Management Development Promotion Position with UPS. However, I made a decision to leave UPS, and to return to Chicago, Illinois to complete my college degree as a full time student at Moody. I graduated from Moody in Chicago Illinois in 1967, and Trinity International University in Deerfield Illinois 1969, before returning to Baltimore. UPS was founded by James E. Casey in Seattle, Washington in 1907. United Parcel Service, Inc., typically abbreviated to UPS, is the world’s largest package delivery company and a provider of supply chain management solutions. The global logistics company is now headquartered in Sandy Springs, Georgia, which is part of the Greater Atlanta metropolitan area. UPS delivers more than 15 million packages a day to more than 6.1 million customers in more than 220 countries and territories around the world.
