The objective of the Connections Manager Complex is to manage and coordinate the complex teams ensuring work is carried out in line with Civtec’s and Industry standards as well as completed within required timeframes. Lead and coordinate technical and build crews ensuring assigned work is carried out to safety, quality and within specified timeframes Build strong relationships with key clients, customers, and connections teams Manage subcontract and internal resources undertaking GFR, PWR, Greenfield works or any other works that are required but unable to be completed by the Structured Works resources. Support tendering for additional work in conjunction with the Operations Manager Actively manage costs of works and report on profitability as required. Manage and monitor staff performance taking development and corrective action taken when required. Ensure all team members have a clear understanding of job requirements, priorities and objectives Scope and plan projects including equipment, materials and resource planning and management. Work collaboratively with the project manager to meet all deadlines and commitments. Coordinate internal and external suppliers ensuring timely completion of required work. Completion of documentation and reports in a timely manner and in line with Civtec and Regulatory bodies requirements Liaise with Civtec team, regulatory bodies and the public on project developments and milestones as required Complete and ensure site audits are consistently completed, lead and implement any necessary corrective action as required. Providing technical advice and support where required Training and coaching technicians and onsite supervisors to support continuous development of the fibre installs team Provide information and complete as directed internal and external reporting requirements Complete any other reasonable request/miscellaneous tasks as instructed by the South Island Operations Manager Show less
