This included working shifts up to 13 hours, and overnight. • Worked closely with on-site medical staff and school nurses to provide appropriate care for all visiting students, including many with special physical and emotional needs. • Maintained a safe educational environment through staff training in risk management, Emergency Action Plans. • Trained and evaluated staff in curriculum; developed and implemented teaching techniques for students of all learning abilities. Responsible for teaching many large and small group lessons, often at the last minute. • Scheduled staff hours and activities, completed payroll paperwork, used Microsoft Office for on-site logistics and Powerpoint presentations. • Communicated clearly with other administrative departments to ensure adherence to policies and procedures. • Collaborated with a curriculum team to keep the educational product comprehensive, current, and grant compliant. Developed lesson plans, in accordance with Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards, for elementary science content. For this work, received the Department’s “Crystal Bell” award. • Communicated proactively with administrative, health, and teaching staff of visiting schools, as well as parents, to ensure quality, customized experiences for their students. • Provided visiting elementary school teachers with the skills and inspiration to transfer their field trip experiences into fun and constructive classroom activities. • Represented my organization at CSTA conventions, AEOE conferences, and COSA certifications. • Engaged prospective clients by visiting elementary and middle schools and meeting with principals, teachers, school counselors, and PTA members.
