Steve is professional, attentive to detail and great fun to work with. I am delighted to have heard him play music too!

It's rare to find a firm made up of such uniquely talented and easy to work with people. The team members that make up pounce.com are each experts in their field, are uniquely creative, technically savvy, provide highly professional results, and on top of all that, every one of them are great to work with and possess a great deal of common sense, one of my favorite attributes. They take their work seriously and themselves lightly. I would recommend Chuck, Steve, Barb, and the rest of the team to anyone.

My responsibilities, in a nutshell, are to increase traffic from health consumers to our consumer health insurance portal by providing content that will help them find and purchase affordable, quality health insurance outside the employer-sponsored/large-group market. My day-to-day work includes producing site content and developing content visibility strategies, which include link building, blogging, a variety of social media tactics and public relations. I'm also responsible for search engine optimization (SEO) and competitive analysis of online health insurance portals as well as site traffic monitoring and reporting.

The job description is "Word Guy" because that's my deal ... figuring out which words do the best job of pulling eyeballs to Web sites. I'm obsessed with search engine optimization (SEO), and increasingly fascinated by social media, including the vast business promotion potential of Facebook. I learned that a small-town newspaper can be the cheerleader and the conscience of a community that needs and deserves both. I covered everything ... community planning, big personalities from small places, unbelievable state champion wrestling, speech and track teams, Lions picnics, ice fishing ... you name it. I highly recommend the experience for any aspiring journalist. I learned that a small-town newspaper can be the cheerleader and the conscience of a community that needs and deserves both.
