At Meat Standards Australia (MSA) a department of MLA my primary role was to manage data flows and associated process for the MSA program. During my time in this role I worked closely with AUS-MEAT Limited to ensure that data for different programs could be easily managed between the two companies. I was the primary instigator in developing a sytem to enable the Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) program to be the master data source for all MSA producers. This has had significant carry on benefit to the industry over the years and is still in use now. Show less

Originally hired by Australian Meat and Livestock Corporation (AMLC) in Sydney. I then relocated to the Brisbane office after 6 months after AMLC was disbanded and MLA was created. Major achievements in this role were creating the original Livestock Production Assurance website in 2004 and setting up the original "Generic" program which has allowed AUS-MEAT to be able to manage 50+ programs using this methodology.
