Over the last 6 year Stephen has worked as part of my team on two occasions totalling approx. 3 years. Initially I found his work ethic, attitude and standard of work to be excellent. Technically very strong in both Strategy and Planning he was a natural choice to quickly move to Team Lead and finally Department Head where he was able to achieve the balance between shadowing the Executive Board and driving into tangible actions from his department. More recently, whilst I've been in the Doosan MENA Service Centre, I'm please to report that Stephen's reputation is strong as a collaborator and a person with vision who can "get things done".

Stephen was an outstanding member of my Strategy team during my time at Doosan. He played a leading role in the annual strategic planning process - providing creativity, meticulous planning and an excellent sounding board for ideas. He is a strong communicator and widely respected across the business as well as with the Korean parent company Strategy team (in his role as lead counterpart). His work ethic is exceptional and he managed multiple strategic projects for me - in addition to undertaking and completing an MBA at the same time. Stephen is equally adept at managing junior team members as he is at working closely with the CEO and Executive Team. He quickly demonstrated his leadership capabilities to me and I appointed Stephen as my deputy in the Head of Strategy role. After relocating for personal reasons, I recommended Stephen for the Head of Strategy role and look forward to maintaining our strong working relationship and links in the energy industry.
