  I am the main contact for all advertising and Marketing aspects of the E List Magazine. The E list going out to over 20,000 people and it the most sought after magazine in the area. Duties included: •Creating marketing, Sales & business plans for the magazine in which it should become independent and generating a level of income to make the magazine profitable. In the time I was with the magazine I generated over £45,000 in income for the magazine. •Building relationships with existing companies that advertise. Also discuss if they have the best advertising package for their needs. •Profile potential Advertisers and seek meeting with them to sell the benefit of being in the magazine over other marketing methods. Also create marketing packages that suited a wide range of budgets. New Advertisers included The Mall Shopping Centre, Millfield Theatre, Central Parade, Stratford East Theatre, Hackney Empire. •Attending local Events as a represented of the E List Magazine these included The Walthamstow Garden Party & The opening of Creative hub Central Parade among others. •Providing creative input to improve the magazine this included sourcing features and creating new sections in the magazine such as a home and garden Section, Food & Drink Section & Health and Fitness Section. •Assisting with the delivery of the magazines to meet stockists who could be potential advertisers. I also expanded the magazine into new areas such as Wanstead & Snaresbrook areas as these where areas of high income readers. I was also in charge of restocking venues mid-month to help with the demand of the magazine. •Creating and maintaining a spreadsheet that I designed the help the editor have a clear view of what adverts and features where being lined up from Month to Month. This also involved data entry when new deals or renewals had to be amended in the spreadsheet. Show less
