Whilst studying for my BSc at South Bank I joined Wimpey UK (1978) as part of the education-training for the thin sandwich. In 1982 I was assigned to Wimpey Homes Southampton and there started my life times work in New Homes Development. In 1985 I left Wimpey and spent 5 years between smaller developers. 5th November 1990 I joined C G Fry & Son, 3 years later Poundbury Village Dorchester commenced (25th October 1993). The dream continues with some 1400 of the 2500 units completed. It may be another 10 years before its finished ? 2015 & 2016 we won the prestigious NHBC Supreme Award for Medium Builder. 2017 we were runner up Show less
