Steve is a pro! and a pleasure to work with. Always has time to help a new chemist or tech. A really good guy.
Yuriko Suzuki, Ph.D
I had the pleasure of working with Steve at sanofi-aventis, internal medicine TD and fibrosis and wound repair TSU. Steve was leading enzyme and receptor projects as project leader in internal medicine TD. I was always impressed by him how handle the project and chemistry plan. When we worked in Fibrosis and Wound repair TSU, Steve and I co-lead for an orphan GPCR project. The project was under exciting stage to validate target with compounds in vivo. We have to develop unique strategy for the project plan compare to well validated target in both biology and chemistry. Steve led chemistry part very professionally by using his knowledge form his extensive experience and flexibly adjusted the plan to the unique situation, too. He also quickly catches up the biology part and gives good input for the biology team. I enjoyed co-leading the project with him and happy to work together anytime and any projects again in the future. He is the expert senior chemistry leader who anyone will be appreciating the value he bring into the organization, and very professional and present person who you like to work with!
