      In my position here at sefton MBC, I am based at the crosby lakeside adventure centre, an Active sefton Leisure centre that has five hundred member fitness suite,watersport activities, bar/bistro, 14 en suite accesible bedrooms and extensive conference and banqueting space for upto 250 people.As the senior events assistant i oversee events from a morning conference for four people to a 5 course sit down meal for 250 people. I also deputise in the absence of the bar bistro manager by overseeing what can be a very busy operation. I deputise in the absence of the night manager by overseeing the night audit, conducting fire walks, ensuring that the meeting rooms are set up for the next day and ensuring that a fantastic service is delivered to our guests.I also act as the Duty Manager for the entire centre several times a week, this can include acting as the centres host, ensuring that health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times, day to day monitering of systems,cash reconcilliation, dealing with complaints, having to think on my feet in an emergancy, ensuring daily overheads are within budget, leading by example and overall ensuring that we are offering a fantastic service. I am also the designated premises supervisor.
