  As a credit analyst I worked with our loan officers to underwrite loans. Underwriting entails looking at a customers recent financials & background in the industry to determine their financial strength and their ability to service the debts. I then consider the bank's risk profile in relation to the customer. After the underwriting is complete most loan analyzed by me went to our loan committee, which is comprised of our executive staff and the founding members of the bank. As an analyst I also reviewed appraisals, updated monthly tracking spreadsheets, and kept track of real estate market data and trends so the bank can keep a pulse on the local real estate market.
