The application supports the maintenance of address, customer and product details for all PSTN services (over 20 Million). Axis accepts a high volume of requests from multiple Front End Systems for processing and provides responses to these and other systems reliant on the data produced.Reduced database storage requirements by 30% by designing and implementing a process to remove database entries that are older than the required record retention date.Developed and implemented processes to log user activity relevant to personal details and forward to a central repository for generation of logging reports. This was achieved with minimal impact to existing processing times and no impact to accepted SLA’s.Designed, developed and implemented automated batch processes to allow transmission of Personal Information data via sFTP. The solution allowed for the secure generation of keys and the send/receive of files. The design was then used as the standard approach for other mainframe based Telstra projects.Documented existing development processes and prepared training packs for transfer of knowledge.
