  As product development manager I was responsible for new product development with a focus on IoT and connectivity.Since joining the company I developed a new smart pole product that integrates not only wireless lighting but also smart city hardware including cameras, Wi-Fi, an intercom and an EV charger. I identified the right suppliers to supply the hardware and software necessary to build and present a smart city lighting solution within 2 months.I also coordinated with other managers and teams and ensure good communication between R&D and the rest of the company. I updated and review design procedures and provided key advice for product design and process methods such as thermal management, optical performance and sealing.

  My role as assistant R&D manager is to co-ordinate the resources in the R&D department. I report the schedule of each R&D technician and propose a budget for future investment in new technology and tools, such as PDM/PLM and an improved ERP. I interview new candidates for R&D positions, and I help in the evolution of the company to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. I review all KPIs and QOs and present the R&D performance to tri-monthly management meetings. I set out the actions to achieve the KPIs and QOs.I also perform R&D tasks such as product development and innovation. I liaise with other departments in WE-EF Thailand and around the world such as Germany, Australia, France and the US to check that the products developed in Thailand meet all international standards for lighting. I check that the technicians are using the latest IEC/ISO standards for lighting and develop tools to aid in the design process.

  AML systems is part of Johnson Electric. AML systems is the world leader for headlamp actuators. As part of the application team, I drove the technical development of actuators, from customer specification to final delivery. I coordinated design, manufacturing and supplier technical reviews. I had transversal responsibility, assigning technical tasks to different ressources (CAD, lab, purchasing, manufacturing) to design, test, purchase and manufacture according to the customers requirements as well as meeting the constraints of high volume production.I performed design reviews, participated in project meetings and drove all technical documents (RFQ, DFMEA, IMDS, BOM, DVP&R, drawings and 3D). I ensured that the product met the customers requirements at the right cost in the high pressure environment of the automobile industry.In July 2016 i changed position to lighting expert, responsible for roadmap development of New actuators and the amalgamation of Johnson Electric and Aml levelers.
