Throughout my time in RBK I have worked predominantly in the audit department. The clients I have worked on range from small, local enterprises to large, worldwide group companies, the latter providing me with experience in group reporting. I also have significant experience in taxation (both income and corporation) and accounts preparation. I have worked both individually and as part of small and large teams and have led onsite audits as an audit senior. Throughout my time in RBK I have worked predominantly in the audit department. Part time Accounts Assistant
-
Jun 2004 - Aug 2012
From an early age I worked in our family practice of Chartered Accountants. During this experience, I learned the basic principles in accounting and grew comfortable in taking ownership of some of the smaller client's sets of accounts. Some of the tasks I performed were recording cheque journals, performing bank reconciliations & performing vat reconciliations. Another valuable skill I developed was my ability to answer and make phonecalls which has stood to me as my career progressed From an early age I worked in our family practice of Chartered Accountants. During the summers of 2006 -2008 I was a coach in the local tennis club. The children I coached ranged from 5 to 13 years of age and the groups I was responsible for had up to 15 children in each. This experience provided an excellent insight into the skills required to control large amounts of people whilst also testing my decision making ability During the summers of 2006 -2008 I was a coach in the local tennis club.
