This resulted in the production of equipment specific inspection procedures based on inspection history, current operating regimes and the consequence and likelihood of failure.• Fully developed the computerised inspection management system using supported software whilst incorporating existing company methods and procedures to ensure all legislative requirements were met.• Prepared and fully controlled a circa £2m budget for all inspection activities including managing sub-contracts for NDT services.• Managed a team of Inspection Engineers and Inspectors on a day-to-day basis and during major turnaround and inspection events to ensure that all objectives were fully met. Monitored progress using key performance indicators.• Developed the skills and competencies of subordinates within the department.• Represented the company at conferences, seminars and relevant industry forums typically hosted by IMechE, CIA and EEMUA to ensure the transfer of best practice and technology.
