  I have achieved my current role as Delivery Manager working my way through Installation Engineering for installation services. I have worked on several projects including switch refresh which involved overseeing the upgrade of Cisco switches in HMRC offices throughout the UK. I have recently delivered a project rolling out 26,000 desktops in 7 months, the project was brought in on time and received high praise from the customer. I have also just completed a rollout of 'toughbook' laptops, this brought particular problems in that the installation took considerably longer than testing had suggested. I had to work very closely and carefully monitoring and managing the customer expectation and at the same time ensuring personally that the installation engineers were fully conversant with the procedures required. I am involved in meetings with the HMRC project lead, creating implementation plans, obtaining and presenting statistics, dealing with issues and organising resources, reporting back to senior management and ensuring that the project runs smoothly, is brought in on time, in budget whilst ensuring the customer's needs are fully satisfied.
