Fifteen years of progressively building onto my skill set in a production environment. I have worked my way from Machine Operator, to Material Handler, to a Lead Process Technician, and to Department Supervisor which has allowed me to sharpen my interpersonal and communication skills that’s used to collaborate with four production teams to resolve daily problems. Current projects: To streamline scrap materials through my department so that cost savings is realized, efficiencies are increased, and existing scrap inventories are lowered and accurate (materials were 4.4 million pounds at the beginning of the project). This project, thus far, utilized just under 4 millions pounds of material from inventory, which reduced raw material usage for the company. A large part of this project is working with, strategizing for, and training, four production shifts to maximize the flow of scrap materials while reducing existing inventories. At the same time developing up to-date training and procedures so that usage of scrap materials become sustainable practice that directly impacts the bottom line through savings. Show less
