It was wonderful to work with Stephen on the International Bar Association host committee for the Sydney conference this year. Stephen was an excellent chair, with a bold vision for a fabulous conference, an inclusive warm and collaborative manner, a clear calm head for navigating difficult issues and great enthusiasm for showcasing Australia to more than 4500 delegates. Well done Stephen. The Law Council of Australia is very grateful!

I first met Stephen many years ago when he provided our firm with valuable advice about strategy and governance. Since then Stephen has regularly shared his wisdom with me, and has driven success during long stints as CEO at Bell Gully and Sparke Helmore. Stephen's peerless knowledge about what it takes to run a successful professional services firm, makes him indispensable to any board or senior management team.
