  My responsibilities and experience include: Investigating acts of violent crime and death investigations. As a detective, I have to manage individual crime scenes, determine what‘s needed and available then exercise the use of resources for the purpose of gaining knowledge, or establishing leads toward solving a crime. Develop and exercise investigative techniques to determine the links between the crime, victim, and offender. Work to formulate a strategy and approach toward interrogating suspects, interviewing victims and witnesses, for the purposes of determine the direction and or outcome of the interview. Establishing a rapport with the citizens of the community to build a positive interaction and understanding of what is being done with their case from an investigative standpoint. Additional duties are, preparing affidavits, developing power points, delivering presentations, case preparation, and courtroom testimony. Show less
