Bio
Timothy (Tim) Hughes
I worked directly with Steve for 3 years, initially he was in a different team, but I eventually managed to convince him that writing software was what all the cool kids are doing, so he should join me. My first impressions of Steve were a highly skilled operations professional with extensive product knowledge. That skill and knowledge was instrumental in teasing out requirements from the old platform and defining the stories for the new platform. As part of his operations role he had access to the source code and would diagnose bugs and issues alongside and often before the developers. From this experience he built knowledge of how (not to) write C# and was the resident PowerShell expert. I could see he had all the necessary skills and product knowledge to perform a .NET developer role better than someone from the open market. I look forward to working with Steve again and I wish him all the best in this new career (with the cool kids).
