Stephen is an exemplary and accomplished IT engineer. As colleagues in a department where IT issues came in quickly and in great quantities, Stephen took on this type of challenging environment with a high level of patience and great determination. He never saw the workload as daunting, but instead, thought that each reported issue as an opportunity to assist the individual with his high level of excellence and professionalism. Every person received his undivided attention as he implemented his vast IT knowledge to resolve issues. And in every instance, Stephen always presented a gracious, compassionate, and calm demeanor no matter if the situation was an ideal one or not. In addition, Stephen, when he had the opportunity, availed himself to provide instruction or assistance to his teammates. He never shied away from a request for help, knowing that it was not a sacrifice of his time, but an opportunity to boost a team member's knowledge as well as morale when situations became stressful. These qualities explain why during his tenure at Providence, he was the first choice to handle issues from C-level executives and VIPs.
