Multiple release systems and applications. - Composite Part Fabrication: wet layup, prepreg, multiple epoxy resin system use and knowledge. Fiberglass, kevlar, carbon fiber, foam/honeycomb cores, secondary bonds, bagging, resin-infusion, charting vacuum/temperature, curing, trimming and storage. - Assembly: using coordinate system, trimming, jigging, and installing aircraft sub-assemblies/assemblies. Bonding, corner tapes, closeouts, resin wiping, fuel sealing, MOD’s, repairs, shimming, precision drilling, reaming, sealants, Clickbonds, hardware installation, body work and paint. - Use of AC 43-13 and technical manuals for system installation methods, techniques and practices. - Hydraulic, pneumatic and fuel systems. Basic electrical, turbine engines, flight control systems, landing gear, canopy/transparency, system check-out/testing, flight test, flight line and ground support. - Airworthiness inspections/documentation: condition, pre-flight, through-flight, post-flight, special inspections, forms and logs under supervision of A&P and/or Crew Chief. - Sheet metal, box break, foot shear, basic mill and lathe machining.
