A unique partnership between Stanford University researchers and more than 200 volunteer industry experts provides the education and mentorship to advance research discoveries from bench to bedside. In 2014 the SPARK at Stanford model was first shared globally; SPARK GLOBAL is now a network of translational scientists that collaboratively innovate patient solutions for complex rare diseases and other unmet medical needs. Our global program has grown to comprise more than 55 research institutes from over 20 countries. Our mission is to develop fast and economic solutions for the most critical world health threats.
