Summer Associate in the Capital Planning team specific to the Leasehold Asset Management Plan (LAMP) Program. This position works alongside the Leads assisting in the development and maintenance of the LAMP Program for both MAG and MCSCS. The LAMP program is a combination of inventorying and assessing of leasehold improvements systems within a building. This information is gathered and inputted into IO’s Asset Management System to allow stakeholders/users to utilize tools (reports) to effectively manage, maintain and leverage that information in the creation of capital projects, plan and budgets. Specific duties of this position involved: • Assist in the leads in building a consistent approach and identify exceptions to support various ministry capital planning needs. • Research and report on facility/asset management trends and solutions as needed. • Analyze spreadsheets and identify opportunities between IO and LAMP building systems. • Prepare summary reports for Supervisor. • Update and document current processes. • Review sensitive inspection reports and communicate discrepancies to assessors. • Attend meetings with clients and vendors.
